The last few years we have done a Disguise a Turkey project! The first couple of years, we did it in class… yes, I said that right… in class! What in the world were we thinking??? Actually, it was my teaching partners idea- she really gets into these crafty things…
And then last year we suddenly had a “lightbulb” moment! Why aren’t we sending these home and letting the students work on them with their family. It was WONDERFUL- for us anyway (hee hee). We couldn’t believe how creative they got so we are doing it again this year! I decided to put it out there for others to use as a FREEBIE in my store.
I send home a letter from Mr. Turkey (with samples on the back), a plain white turkey, and a piece of black construction paper.
Here are some samples from last year!
Angry Bird
Mermaid
Christmas Tree
Hot Chocolate
Baby

Love your turkeys in disguise!
Absolutely adorable!
I did something like the turkeys in disguise years ago – like we are talking 1998! I may have to try it again! Thank you!
